Anne’s Latest Exhibition 2023

This is the third in a series of Landscape exhibitions I have had over the last decade, beginning with Poetic Landscape at the Grosvenor Museum in Chester(2016) then Torn Landscape in London (2016) and now Found Landscape here in Cheshire.

Each has marked a different stage in my journey as an artist. Finding an image is very different from making one and all the work in this exhibition is about my own individual response to a particular landscape and its history and the feelings it evokes in me.  This response can take time to filter through but will emerge eventually .. I simply have to find and recognise it.

I have been really pleased at the response to the exhibition with over half of it going at the opening. This Cheshire barn with its old brick walls was a beautiful space to show the work. Thank you Brian and Judy Chesworth.
